For couples who give a shit about the experience.

I’m not super interested in perfectly polished wedding culture or making people feel like they need to perform all day. I’d rather document the personalities, relationships, chaos, emotions, and little moments that actually made the day what it was. At the end of it all, I just want people to look back at their photos years from now and feel like, “yeah, that was so us."

Hey, I'm Lauren

At the end of the day, I don’t really care about creating something that feels perfect. I care about creating something that feels real enough that years from now you can look at it and immediately remember exactly how it all felt.

I picked up a camera because I loved documenting life as it was happening, and over time I realized the photos I cared about most were never the perfect ones anyway. They were the real ones. Losing my dad changed the way I look at photography. It made me realize how much photos end up meaning later on. Not just the big moments, but the random little stuff too. The look on someone’s face. The way a place felt. The people beside you during a season of your life you can never fully go back to.

I’m a super sentimental person honestly, which is probably why I care so much about documenting things in a way that actually feels honest. I notice the quieter moments naturally. The pause before vows. The deep breath after. The silence in the car ride back down the mountain. The wind, the weather, the chaos, the calm. All of it. I’m mostly drawn to microweddings and elopements because I love how personal they feel. Less pressure. Less performance. More intention. More room to actually be present with each other and create a day that feels like your relationship instead of everybody else’s expectations.

What To Expect

You reach out. Tell me about yourselves, your wedding plans, your ideas, your chaos, whatever. I wanna hear all of it.

01.

What To Expect

We see if we vibe. We’ll hop on a call or text/email back and forth and make sure we’re actually a good fit for each other because that part matters.

02.

What To Expect

We figure shit out together. Timelines, locations, logistics, ideas, backup plans, whatever you need help with. I’m very much a “text me when you’re spiraling” type of photographer.

04.

What To Expect

You book me. Contract, retainer, done. Then we get to start planning all the fun stuff.

03.

What To Expect

You go get married. You focus on being present and having a good fucking time, and I’ll focus on documenting everything as it actually felt.
